Konica Minolta: Colour measurement, handheld NIR and laboratory titrators

About Konica Minolta

Konica Minolta spectrophotometers give a dyehouse and its lab precise, repeatable colour measurements, so shade matching and quality control rest on numbers instead of the eye.

The CM-36d is a premium benchtop instrument that measures colour and gloss, with a sample-viewer camera and Numerical UV Control. The wider range covers benchtop and portable spectrophotometers, a chroma meter and a chlorophyll meter. ColorMission software is recommended with the instruments.

The range also includes the MicroNIR OnSite-W handheld near-infrared analyzer and the TitroLine 7750 and 5000 automatic titrators for the laboratory.

Questions about Konica Minolta

Which Konica Minolta instrument is for textile colour control?

The CM-36d benchtop spectrophotometer measures colour and gloss from raw fabric to finished garments. Portable models such as the CM-26dG and CM-700d suit measurement on the floor.

What fabrics can the MicroNIR OnSite-W analyze?

Poly, cotton knit, woven, spandex, nylon, non-woven fabrics, leather and thicker samples.

What is a TitroLine used for?

It is an automatic titrator and piston burette that doses titrant and finds the end point in potentiometric and volumetric titrations in the lab.

How accurate is the CM-36d?

Repeatability is within 0.02 standard deviation ΔE*ab, with a 360 to 740 nm wavelength range.
